Gabrielle Towell

Gabrielle is a UKCC Level 3 coach, the first in England to achieve this, qualifying in 2008 and was awarded England Netball Goalden Globe Coach of the Year in 2012

As a player Gabs was awarded U21 Player of the Year for Lancashire and captained the Senior Team before injury forced retirement from elite competition. She continued with a successful playing career in the Fylde Netball league but has more recently concentrated on coaching. As well as coaching at Blackpool, she has coached Manchester Thunder NPL to four consecutive National League titles and coached within the England Performance Pathway for the Lancashire Academy Centre of Excellence and the U17 North West Performance Academy.

Away from coaching Gabs is Vice Chair, Head of Performance and County Head Scout for Lancashire County Netball and is a C Award umpire. Married to Shaun and has two teenage children, Gabs also holds the role as BNC Secretary.

Gill Walker

Gill is a Level 2 coach having been recently re-accredited to UKCC standard after gaining her original qualification in 2005.

As a player Gill represented both her County and the NW Region before injury forced an early retirement. As well as coaching at Blackpool, she has coached at local schools and colleges and currently coaches within the England Performance Pathway for the Lancashire Academy and Centre of Excellence. She is an approved Talent Scout at this Level too.

Away from coaching, Gill is a C Level umpire and has served on the local Fylde Netball League Committee in various roles and recently stepped down as County Chair and Performance Representative to focus on Club activities.

She updates her coaching experience by regularly attending workshops and was recently named the NW Unsung Hero of the Year and represented the Region at the Goalden Globes in September. Gill also holds the role as BNC Chair.

Debbie Hanley

Debbie is a UKCC Level 1 coach who has been involved in local league netball for almost 30 years as a player, umpire, Committee member and coach. After injury (and age!) forced retirement from playing in 2004 Debs joined forces with Gill and Gabs and concentrated on coaching Club netball from thereon.

Debs served on the Fylde Netball League Committee for 15 years and is an England C grade umpire. She also holds the Treasurer role within Blackpool Netball Club and focuses on coaching the Primary School ages and the junior teams within the Club at both tournaments and local league fixtures.

Natalie Gregan

Natalie has been involved with Blackpool Netball Club for 20 years since joining the Club as a junior player aged 10 years and still plays in the Open Age Regional Squad. Throughout her College years she completed her Level 1 and 2 coaching awards which enables her to coach at Club sessions, local league matches and tournaments and has also coached at Lancashire.

Natalie is also involved in umpiring and has completed her England A award qualification. She has previously been selected by England to travel to Gibraltar and Malta to umpire at Netball Europe and is now involved with the National Premier League and Superleague in an umpiring role.
