Welcome to the official website for Blackpool Netball Club which offers quality coaching, enabling all players to reach their full potential. We run sessions from age 7 right though to senior level and compete in local, county and regional competitions. We are the only Fylde based club to compete in the North West Premier League. As well as producing county, regional and national players we also help to develop coaches, umpires and volunteers too.

We are a friendly club and are always looking for new players and volunteers to support our expanding numbers. We strongly believe that being involved in a club develops life skills, as well as the obvious sporting advantages, and encourage all our members to become involved with the numerous roles we have on offer. If you’re interested in joining us please see our training times in the relevant section or contact one of the coaches to discuss any queries you may have.

Today our U9, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15/16’s played against Chorley Infernos in the Lancashire Netball League. Thanks go to Chorley for hosting and to all those who helped to facilitate the event for our Club - coaches, umpires, scorers, parents and of course our players.

There were some great wins, some losses but all round some really positive signs of improved performance - looking forward to the next time the BNC family come together πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

It’s been a busy week at Blackpool Netball Club. On Monday we travelled to Belle Vue to watch Manchester Thunder being coached by our very own Gabrielle Collins Towell. There were nearly 50 of us with a combination of junior and senior players and some parents. The night saw a comfortable win for Thunder and our girls thoroughly enjoyed meeting some of the players and Thunder Bear too.

On Friday, whilst training continued for our younger members, Gabrielle was again involved with Thunder, this time playing Team Northumbria. A much more closely contested game than the one on Monday night but a win nonetheless.

Sunday saw both our NW Premier and Championship Squads take on Tameside who have a strong history of reaching National Clubs Finals and whose Senior squad play in the National Premier League in Division 1. We’re extremely grateful to Myerscough College for hosting this fixture.

Our Premier Squad put out a great performance with all players taking to the court and coming out with a 58/52 victory. Players of the Match were Oppositions - Abby Pridmore Chamberlain, Players and Umpires Rachel Towell and Coaches Victoria Danson

The Championship Squad then played and, again, there were some great performances, which saw us leading by a very small margin for parts of the game. Unfortunately, we were unable to hold on to this lead and lost 52/48 gaining us a valuable extra point. Players of the Match were Oppositions Natasha Scott, Players Abigail Martin and Coaches and Umpires Jo-Anne Laura Cairns.

Tonight Gabrielle is back with Thunder on an away trip to Logborough Lightning and we wish her and the Squad the very best of luck πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€

Today marks the anniversary of yet another year since our former Head Coach Lynn left us after a brave battle with cancer.

The years may go by but the memories you gave us and the legacy you left behind are testimony to the person you were. Always putting others before yourself.

Rest In Peace Lynn πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”
